Only 1 Month to the Official Release of the NFL Scheduler
Much of the flare that comes with the NFL free agency has cooled down. The free agency is still on but it is no longer the most attractive event at the moment. Right now, attention is being directed towards this years NFL Draft. The event that is about to attract the most publicity, however, is the official release of the season's schedule. This will happen sometime in the last quarter of the month of April. The preseason schedule, however, is expected a few days into the month of April.
At the release of the NFL schedule, it will be much easier to weigh the San Francisco 49ers odds for the season. The 49ers are expected to feature in several prime-time games this season. Just like in other years, the main networks have been creating a buzz around the schedule release for a while now. Dedicated shows have been running on ESPN and the NFL Network in what appears to be an overkill. Nevertheless, most fans have been carried away by the euphoria. A lot more fuss should be expected as the official schedule draws nearer. Considering that the NFL Draft will follow up the schedule in a span of a week, fanfare and gossip will be the main theme on the networks.
Of interest to fans at this moment is knowing the exact number of prime time games that the team will have. In recent years, the 49ers have not had many of them with the previous season's game against the Los Angeles Rams being the only prime time game during that season. A year before that, the Thursday Night Football game against the Arizona Cardinals and the Monday Night Football games versus the L.A Rams comprised the only two prime time games. It is about time that the 49ers got more prime time games and an improvement is expected this year.
It is highly likely that the 49er's prime time games will edge closer to the maximum that any team can get. This is because the expected Thursday Night Football game will happen in addition to a couple of top-tier matchups during the season. Some of the noteworthy matchups expected include Jimmy Garoppolo against Pat Mahomes and once again against Aaron Rodgers. Both of these matchups will most likely get two of the slotted prime time games.
Whatever the official schedule will look like, the 49ers are expected to have a high flying season in many ways. The prime-time games and the interesting matchups will definitely make the season exceptional compared to the previous few years. Week 17 might even see a memorable clash that will define the rest of the season. The final schedule definitely holds all the answers to the questions that all curious fans might have at the moment.
Below are all the opponents the 49ers will face in no particular order. Home: Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants, Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles RamsAway: Minnesota Vikings, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams
