2016 San Francisco 49ers Roster
2016 brought us some interesting numbera when it comes down to their players: Carlos Hyde closed his first 1,000-yard rushing season (first to do so after Frank Gore). Defensive End DeForest Buckner, the rookie made best on the team for the defensive line, Wide Receiver Jeremy Kerley who became a really productive player for the 49ers and not to forget about Defensive Back Jimmie Ward or Tight End Vance McDonald. As you can see, the list goes on.

2015 San Francisco 49ers Roster
Eventhough the 49ers ended up last in NFC West, the season did have its highlights. Linebacker Aldon Smith got over 44 sacks his four-year career, Running Back Carlos Hyde averaged 4.0 yards per carry during his rookie year—an effort that resulted in 333 rushing yards and four touchdowns and to foget the great Joe Staley, he allowed a combined total of 29 quarterback pressures, per PFF, considered an elite left tackle in football.

2014 San Francisco 49ers Roster
2014 was a rough season for the 49ers, Seahawks loss on Week 15 left them out of postseason, something that didn't happen since 2010. In the middle of the all this the Niners had Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks, one of the top pass rushing tandems in the league. There was the rising star: Eric Reid, free safety, his performance got in him to the Pro Bowl and Colin Kaepernick, strong arm plus a great runner considering that he is quarterback. Remember coach Jim Harbaugh: 1 Super Bowl and 3 straight NFC Championship games (but not 2014).

2013 San Francisco 49ers Roster
2013 was a roller coaster full of transactions, injuries, surprise performers. The team has had lows and career highs throughout the year. A definite high for the 49ers was All-Pro defensive tackle Justin Smith, the man knew how to control of line of scrimmage. Eric Reid has pushed the limit and has performed at Pro Bowl level all season along. Another worth mentioning is NaVorro Bowman, ILB big-time most valuable player on the Niners defense.

2012 San Francisco 49ers Roster
2012 49ers roster gave us one of the top defenses of that season with names like Ray McDonald, Tarell Brown, Ahmad Brooks, and Navorro Bowman.

2011 San Francisco 49ers Roster
2011 roster was full of promise, they got great improvements in their offense with names like Alex Smith and the defense did their part ending up as the seventh-best. The Niners finished the regular season at 13-3, won 1st place NFC West, won Divisional Playoffs against the Saints and lost NFC Championship to the Giants.

2010 San Francisco 49ers Roster
The 2010 season ended up with a 7-9 record, low considering their awesome preseason and start of the season until they hit Seattle, that's when things just went down hill. Player wise, we have to mention Running back Frank Gore, rushed for 853 yards during the season. Brian Westbrook was a great acquisition for 2010 but was used until Gore got injured in Week 10. We have to mention Anthony Dixon, a rookie that is starting show potential, so keep an eye on him.
